Overview

Peachjar and ParentSquare are both online programs used in the Canyons School District as a way to disseminate and communicate information with the Canyons School District community. This article provides and explanation of the purposes of both of these programs. 

Implementation

Peachjar

Peachjar is the online platform that business and community partners can use to direct-market their events, promotions, partnerships, and other non-instruction-related information to the Canyons community. In addition, it is also used for school-non essential information and information across feeder systems. Fees are charged to outside entities using the service, and money earned from posting the flyers is funneled to the Canyons Education Foundation general fund and is used to support the needs of teachers and students across the district. Canyons also has established rules and guidelines for adverstising on Peachjar. According to policy, all outside advertising or requests from any entity outside of your school should come through the Office of Public Engagement for approval and distribution. 

ParentSquare

Parentsquare is a communication tool to facilitate teacher-parent communication. This would not include messages from external vendors, promotions, or community announcements.
